Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend these retreats?
Our retreats are designed specifically for licensed mental health professionals, including professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, clinical psychologists, and clinical social workers. We also welcome graduate-level mental health students and other qualified professionals in related fields. Each retreat’s training content is tailored to the needs of those working in mental health, with a focus on both professional development and personal renewal. Because of our holistic focus, our trainings are also highly applicable to related fields, such as massage therapists, nutritionists, functional medicine practitioners, nurse practitioners, PTs, and OTs.
Are your retreats CEU-approved?
We design our retreats to meet the requirements for continuing education for mental health professionals, and we actively work toward securing CEU approval for each event. CEU eligibility will vary depending on the retreat and your state board’s requirements. If CEUs are available, the details and number of hours will be clearly listed on the retreat’s page. We recommend confirming with your licensing board before booking if earning CEUs is important to you.
Are these therapist retreats tax-deductible?**
Because our retreats combine professional education with career-related training, they may qualify as a tax-deductible business expense. This can include registration fees, travel, and certain related costs. We recommend consulting with your accountant or tax advisor to determine how deductions may apply to your situation.
Do I need to be a licensed therapist to attend these retreats?
Most retreats are intended for licensed professionals and students, but some may also be open to graduate students in mental health programs or other practitioners working in adjacent wellness fields. The eligibility criteria for each retreat will be clearly noted on its dedicated page. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please contact us to discuss your background and goals.
Can I bring a guest with me?
In most cases, our retreats are reserved for therapists and related professionals in order to maintain the integrity of the learning environment and group connection. You are welcome to bring a guest if they are attending for professional development as well. We also offer guest referral discounts and you can reduce costs further by sharing a room.
